New Artist - Fred Camargo Opening party 6/5!

Our ever-popular local artist series continues in June with the work by local photographer and illustrator, Fred Camargo. Fred works out of his studio in the East Bay, but has worked extensively in San Francisco as well. His compelling imagery is a mixture of media types, styles and disciplines.

From his site: “I have written for a few magazines and have artwork published in books as well, and I work ever harder for more. I do work full time in construction and I am self taught. The Mission District in San Francisco has allowed me to preform solo exhibits and my mind is in a constant flow of ideas. Fashion, beauty, industrial, and retro – all of it is in my mind and so much has yet to be explored and revealed. “

The artist opening for this installment of the GIVEN artist series is scheduled for Friday, June 5th from 6-8 PM. Fred Camargo’s work will be featured from June 5th through July 26th, 2009. Refreshment, music and store discounts are all offered free of charge. All of Fred Camargo’s work will be 20% off the night of the opening ONLY, so don’t miss out!
